Andrew Yale Winston
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Winston attended Pennsylvania State University and earned his B.A from Temple University, graduating cum laude with honors in 1990. He then received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Law School in 1994. Before joining forces with John K. Lawlor in 1998, Mr. Winston gained experience working with two South Florida insurance defense firms. Mr. Winston’s practice focuses on personal injury including wrongful death and professional liability, representing physicians and lawyers in malpractice and ethics matters. He is dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals and assisting families of loved ones who have been injured through the negligence of others. Mr. Winston is an active Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, the Broward County Justice Association and the Broward County Bar Association. Mr. Winston is admitted to practice before all Florida courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been recognized for his excellence in the representation of injured clients by admission to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, is AV Rated by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and was recently voted by his peers as a Florida “SuperLawyer”, (an honor reserved for the top 5% of lawyers in the State), and to Florida Trend’s 2011“Legal Elite”.
