As founder of the Law Office of Laurie Ohall, Ms. Ohall is committed to representing clients in Tampa Bay and Brandon, Florida. She focuses her practice on handling elder law cases that involve the following matters: estate, probate, guardianship, special needs planning, wills, living trusts, durable power of attorney, business planning and irrevocable life insurance trusts.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Stetson University, Ms. Ohall went on to receive a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1994.
Planning for the future is an important part of passing on a legacy to heirs. It can also prevent family members from facing difficult decisions following the death of a loved one. For more than 20 years, Ms. Ohall has been helping clients organize their end-of-life plans. She takes the time to understand her clients’ goals and works closely with them to make sure every detail has been covered. The Florida Bar has certified Ms. Ohall as an elder law attorney.
Active in the legal community, Ms. Ohall has taught several seminars that relate to her practice area. She also holds memberships with The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Elder Law sections, The Brandon Bar Association, the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. Ms. Ohall is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Ms. Ohall also participates in pro bono activities through community outreach programs offered by The Brandon Bar Association.
