Collin earned his degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Finance and minors in Economics from Florida State University. He served as a State Prosecutor in Felony, Misdemeanor, Traffic, and Juvenile divisions where he handled over 6,000 criminal cases. He also served as the lead prosecutor as State Attorney Liaison for the Weed and Seed drug program. As a criminal defense attorney Collin defended one of the largest marijuana cases in North Florida in excess of 9,000 lbs. Collin worked as Senior Counsel for the Florida Department of Insurance regulating insurance companies for fraudulent practices. He opened his private practice in 2002. Collin’s private practice specializes in civil personal injury claims, wrongful death litigation, medical malpractice, class action and multi-district litigation. His firm has worked to obtain a $335,000 verdict on a $25,000 insurance policy and a $100,000 settlement in an auto accident case with a $10,000 auto insurance policy due to bad faith and fraud by the insurance company. Collin helped his injured clients obtain millions of dollars in recovery since starting his private practice in 2002. He currently represents many business clients in the BP Oil Spill Settlement and is litigating medical malpractice cases. He is a very experienced trial attorney who advocates for the injured in and out of court.
