FLORIDA BAR BOARD CERTIFIED IN BUSINESS LITIGATION AND CIVIL TRIAL | Harry Payton is one of 88 lawyers in the state of Florida with dual board certification in civil trial and business litigation. Harry represents domestic and international corporations and high net worth individuals in complex business litigation matters involving commercial real estate, commercial foreclosures and lender liability; litigation involving fine art; corporate, shareholder and partnership disputes; probate, will and trust litigation; intra-family business disputes; and professional malpractice cases involving attorneys, accountants, architects and engineers. In 2012, Harry was appointed to the Supreme Court of Florida Committee on Professionalism for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, and chairs the mentoring program subcommittee. He is a member of the Florida Bar Section of Business Law; and the Florida Bar Section of Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law. In the ABA, Harry is a member of the Subcommittee on Billing and Budgeting, Corporate Counsel Committee, Section of Litigation (on which he served as Vice Chair from 1994-1997, and Co-Chair from 1998-2004). He was a leader in the effort by the American Bar Association Committee on Corporate Counsel in the creation of a uniform system of billing and budgeting that serves as a platform for assessing the productivity and efficiency of outside counsel and law firms.
